After you have removed your old cover Once you have removed the old cover, use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four main attachment clips on the side that is on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red in the image below. Take note of the yellow tabs that need to be deactivated.

Replace the battery with a # CR2032 coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should face the opening on the fob and the "-" side should face the rubber buttons.

Attach the mirror cover to the passenger side by aligning locating tabs. After you've done this then put the fob on the driver's side back in your car and test it. Press the button on the front of the key. If  fiat key fob  is working properly the car should turn on the parking lights, and the doors will lock automatically.
